The First Degree wakes up your innate healing abilities and serves as an activation to harness greater spiritual energies from within. Our focus is Self-Healing, opening + clearing energy channels, and understanding how to connect to the Universal Energy. There are four attunements shared on Reiki 1. Tailored for beginners - whether you’ve never had a Reiki session before or have had many and read all the books - the course is designed to meet you where you are.
Reiki 1 is taught over two days in South East London to groups of no more than twelve people. This is the most ideal size for powerful healing to take place with an intimate feeling.
In addition to the four attunements, this course covers:
How to confidently connect to the Universal energy
How to give yourself a Reiki treatment (with practice session)
Hand positions to share full treatments with friends + family (with practice sessions)
How to give a mini seated treatment (with practice sessions)
How to create sacred space
The five elements of the System of Reiki
How to see, feel, and work with the aura
The chakras as a holistic system for liberation
The Japanese energy system of the ‘three diamonds’
The history of Reiki, including the origin of the Japanese and Western lineages (this course covers both traditions)
The Reiki Philosophy / Reiki Principles
How to ground + cleanse your energy
The nature of healing
The 21-day clearing process
Using Reiki creatively for everyday life
Reiki as both a spiritual path and a transformational complimentary therapy
